I am on the fence regarding giving this restaurant two or three stars. I opted with three because my friends liked the pizza & me not so much. This restaurant is in the same plaza as a few of the other stores I shop at. I had no idea it was here but my girlfriend mentioned it. We were looking for a place to get pizza & salads. Rotelli is located on the SW corner of Lyons & Hillsboro behind the CVS. The parking lot was full, people were waiting for a table & the counter had a few people picking up takeout orders. The restaurant smelled yummy & there were several occupied tables with happy looking customers. I had high hopes & I was really hoping to love it here. I guess sometimes looks can be deceiving. We were seated immediately & our server was taking our drink order within minutes. We had a wonderful server & she was a lot of fun too. She checked on our group several times & our table all really liked her. For the table we ordered two pies with various toppings. My girlfriend & I also ordered side salads. The salad was very good. It was cold & the veggies were very fresh. It was a standard side salad but the vinaigrette dressing was excellent. Shortly after our salad plates were cleared from the table the pizza's arrived. They looked good although there didn't seem to be a lot of cheese or toppings on them. I tried a slice of the mushroom pizza. My slice only had two little tiny pieces of mushroom on it. I like saucy pizza & I have to say this pizza was extremely dry. It was a thin crust pizza which I prefer but it had the consistency of cardboard. The 2nd pizza had pepperoni & meatballs. I did not try that pizza because it looked even dryer than the mushroom pizza. My girlfriend & I (both ex New Yorkers) did not care for the pizza. My friends husband enjoyed it & ate about four slices & he had no complaints. The forth friend said it was good & actually ate four slices as well. Both pizza's looked like they were thrown together. Some slices had one little topping & other slices had several. I definitely feel like they skimped on the toppings including the cheese. I would not order the pizza again but I wouldn't mind going back & trying one of their salads or one of the dinners. Some of the dishes the servers were walking around with looked very good. The service was good. Parking was easy & the prices were reasonable. I think Rotelli's is a chain but I am not 100% sure. I wanted to like this place more than I did & I left feeling disappointed.

This is the worst of the Rotelli's locations. Ordered a pick up order and I could barely understand the man on the phone and he kept cutting me off. When I picked up my order the entire process was delayed with back and forth and back and forth and unorganized. The pizza was mediocre at best. Asked for them well-done, they weren't. I got a white pizza and there was one single random piece of ham on it. The spaghetti was hard and seemed like it had been hanging out for a while. Overall definitely not happy with this location, as usual.

Hubs and I order from Rotelli's all the time! He loves there pizza, and on Tuesday its pizza day, you can have a large for $7.00. Well this experience for me wasn't as good as normal. I ordered The pecan crusted Chicken salad in a bread bowl. I've ordered it many times and always loved it, hence why I keep going back. This time the bread bowl was gross, hard, and unappetizing. Unhappy with my last visit. Hope the next time I get a better bread bowl!

Even better, they did not reverse the charge as they told me they would for the food I paid for but never received. I had to call my bank to address this. Unbelievable!

Never again... Ive been going here for years and keep thinking the service will get better or the food will taste better. After calling tonight to pickup my meal they told me 45 minutes. I showed up 45 minutes later and they told me they were busy and they didnt get to my order yet and it was not even cooking and that they would have it ready in another 20 minutes. I was frustrated but still waited for the 20 minutes. They still didnt cook it? I told them just to forget it and i will order from somewhere else. The server laughed in my face and said fine have a good night with a sarcastic grin. This was my final straw. Rotelli Pizza will never see me again. Too many other pizzerias with employees that actually care about their customers.

We eat here occasionally when we are by ourselves. Service is always great and friendly. Any concerns or questions they are always right there. Have had pizza, chicken dishes, seafood, apps and they are always delicious. Never that busy but they do take out as well. Good place to just settle in and eat quietly.

Date night Friday, tired and close by. Had a buy one get one free when you buy two drinks coupon. Went in, not crowded, sodas came quick. Soup was mushy with a spoon of macaroni on top. garlic rolls under cooked, with barely any garlic. Chicken parm crunchy coating, tasted good. The spaghetti had very little, not flavorful smooth red sauce, Husbands meal tasted more like canned Beefaroni. but with much more beef and peas. Come here for the lunch specials, and for pizza on Tuesdays.

My wife likes this place but everything I order from there is sub par. Chicken parm should not be dry and canned tomato sauce taste is lacking. Not thrilled with the food but the service is good.

Disappointing! I was looking for a quick decent meal and was having trouble finding a restaurant that wasn't jammed packed with blue hairs on a Sunday night so we ducked in here thinking we could have some pasta and a salad. I mean how bad can you mess that up, right? Wrong! We ordered eggplant rollatini and a salad and A couple glasses of wine. 50 dollars later my girlfriend hadn't finished her meal and says. "Honey...I would've been happier with a bottle of wine, some Ragu sauce and pasta at home instead." That is exactly what I'll do the next time. Honestly, the red sauce is very bland and not even up to Ragu's standards. The salad was just ok although the arugula had some pretty thick stems. It was almost like chewing up the weeds I pulled out of my garden this weekend. I am a bit of a foodie although I wasn't looking for a 5 star meal. Just quick and decent food at a reasonable price. Not to be found in this establishment. We won't be back.

I've been going to this place since I first moved to South Florida and still love it. The pizza is delicious and the salads are awesome. I got the Malibu Chopped Salad, which was amazing. Fresh mozzarella, avocado, grilled chicken, among other awesome things. It was also served in a pizza bread bowl as a nice touch. Overall- always great experience here.

Why spend any money here (even with a coupon) when you could spend a few extra dollars on a good, well made pizza that tastes fresh (there is one in the same plaza next to Duffy's that makes the best pie I've had so far in this area & has a great special on Mon. & Tues. which = the amount of the coupon I just used for this place). Besides the fact that it looks like there was an oil spill on the pizza, there is little to no taste at all from the pie or any of the toppings on it. The 'garlic rolls' have even less taste, not at all worth the amount of fat & calories it costs to consume them. I have learned a lesson & next time will not stray from the place I already know is great. These are the times when I almost wish I wouldn't know what a really good, authentic NY pizza tastes like. Almost... ;-)

Had take out from this Rotelli's twice while on vacation in Florida. The pizza was the best I've had in years. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy, like I like it.. The pasta was pretty tasty too. Franchise to Southern California, please.
